Sketch Dailies - Gollum
My fave riddle of his game:
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes out first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

Sketch Dailies: Rapunzel
Quote from the witch/entrantress:
"I thought I had separated you from all the world, and yet you have deceived me!"

Sketch Dailies: Thor (on Thorsday, GET IT?! HAAAA)
I missed yesterday’s sketch dailies of a Shetland pony… so hopefully including Loki in this one makes up for it.
I mixed Marvel Thor with a smidgen of Myth Thor, so there’s a crown of stars somewhere around his head.

Sketch Dailies: Imaginary Pokemon
I just made a fire type that’s loosely based on the legendary Kirin (or Qilin, depending on what culture you look at). Suppose it could be called Emberin… or Blazoran.. or…
whatever, surely this thing already exists because Pokemon’s covered it all. ಠ_ಠ
No Sketch Dailies last night (because I’m sure everyone was Leprechaun’d out anyhow)
I’ve been attempting to write a story out so I drew two pages for it. If people are interested in something like this, then I might continue on it.

Anyone else get freaked out by the trippy Heffalumps and Woozles song as a kid…? Apparently they re-used the animation from Dumbo’s Pink Elephants on Parade for that sequence.

Sketch Dailies - Medusa
She has quite the sad story, and all of these terrible things were thrust upon her, even after she’s beheaded (Pegasus comes from her body!) Needless to say, I wanted to make her terrifying enough to ensure someone turns to stone.

If you're unsure of who this guy is (and hey, that's okay), I recommend soaking up some culture via Wikipedia about the Journey to the West.
My earliest memory of this guy is watching Big Bird in China when I was really little, and Big Bird follows the Monkey King's clues to find the Phoenix.

Catch up day for last week’s Sketch Dailies topic: Beetlejuice
Anyone else remember or watch the cartoon of this that came out after the film? …Am I really showing my age now…
