Hellraiser Cover

I’m very excited to show this! Apparently Clive Barker, creator of the very popular Hellraiser series, really liked my Black Swan illustration, and as a result, BOOM! Studios (the comic publisher) contacted me to do the cover of an upcoming Hellraiser issue featuring Pinhead (which will be available in July!). So here it is!

Tweens Sci-Fi Story

A little over a year ago, I was commissioned by Six Red Marbles to do maybe 9-10 illustrations for a short sci-fi story, aimed at teens/tweens/children.  It reminded me a bit of Animorphs, since the protagonist had the ability of genetically transforming herself into an owl via pricking her finger (and you know, tons of scientific research). Upon realizing her research wouldn't be used for good, she attempts to run away with her laptop only to be pursued by the military/her former boss.

I remember the deadline for all of these being a bit crazy, and it was after I'd left my full-time job and was in the midst of traveling. Nice to finally post these!

Pied Piper

Last thing I’ll post before the holidays and going to visit family back on the East Coast! This illustration’s for an upcoming Gallery 1988 show based on Fairy Tales after the New Year. I chose to do a version of ‘The Pied Piper’ because, hey, you should always pay the piper (or artist, artisan, etc etc!). This will be a Limited Edition set of 50 signed and numbered prints available at Gallery 1988! 

I’ll post process and sketches later :)
